Terms and Conditions

At The Beautiful Hair Boutique your happiness is our absolute number one priority! If for any reason you are unhappy with your beautiful hair purchase, we will happily exchange or offer you a store credit to be used at anytime.


We understand it can be difficult to sometimes make your purchase online, so please feel free to contact us via phone or email to discuss your requirements so we can ensure you select the perfect option for you. Alternatively, you can visit our flagship Sydney salon to view our range and place your order.


To return your item please email info@thebeautifulhairboutique.com.au and request your RTA (Return Authorisation Number). All we ask is you ship back your item within 10 working days of receiving your order with your RNA and we can start this process for you. Once the item has been received we will contact you within 24 hours to arrange your exchange. If we do not have something suitable for you in stock, we will gladly order this in for you and your store credit will not expire.


Some important things to note when exchanging an item:

  • Items must be unworn, odor-free and in their original condition.

  • Items must be in the original packaging and with all tags attached (where applicable)

  • All Custom Orders and SALE items are final sale and cannot be exchanged or refunded for a change of mind. 

  • We do not offer returns on custom made items or pieces that have been custom cut and styled and/or coloured.

  • Shipping fee’s for all returns are to be covered by the customer. The Beautiful Hair Boutique is not responsible for lost or damaged packages in transit. We recommend you ship your returns by courier or registered post.

  • In accordance with the Australian Hygiene Legislation the return of any beauty product cannot be accepted if it shows any evidence of being opened, altered or used.

  • We inspect all items when returned thoroughly and as such returns must comply within our guidelines in order for a credit to be issued or an exchange to be made.

  • All returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. The Beautiful Hair Boutique reserves the right to charge this fee.

  • If the item has been purchased in the salon with one of our hair loss consultants and you leave the salon wearing your hair, this is then worn and ineligible for exchange for hygiene reasons.

At The Beautiful Hair Boutique we are so confident we have sourced the world’s most amazing hair in terms of hair quality and craftsmanship that if by the off chance you are not completely satisfied with one of our beautiful hair pieces we will gladly exchange this within 14 days. All items must be returned in original condition, unaltered, unworn, undamaged and can not have been custom coloured or cut.


Please Note: If an item has been purchased in the salon, and worn out of the salon, unfortunately we cannot exchange due to hygiene reasons as the product is deemed to be worn - and cannot be returned for change of mind. Please choose carefully, and take your time with our hair loss consultants to make sure you love your hair! We will help guide you through this process when selecting the perfect hair for you.

Credit Notes

  • will be activated within 24hrs

  • is valid for 6 months from date of creation

  • is non-transferable and may not be returned or redeemed for cash; and

  • cannot be on sold for a lower value

  • can be used to purchase Sale items and during promotional periods.

Custom Order Return Policy

As all custom orders are specifically ordered to suit you, we do not offer returns, all custom order sales are FINAL and cannot be returned for change of mind . Please make sure that you choose carefully when selecting your custom item. Please contact us directly if you would like assistance in placing your order.  The Beautiful Hair Boutique unfortunately will not be responsible for wrong measurements or incorrect size and or colour selections made.


Salon Services include a 14 day adjustment on cuts and colours. Adjustments are based on the original consultation with the stylist.

Custom orders and special orders are FINAL SALE and may not be returned or exchanged for change of mind. All custom orders require a 50% deposit at the time of order placement and the balance is due upon collection of your custom piece.


We aim to dispatch all orders within 24-48 hours. If your item is out of stock or we are experiencing delays we will contact you to discuss your options. If your item requires customisation from our hair stylists, please allow and additional 3-5 days. We send all orders Australia Post with tracking. All wigs and hair toppers are sent free of charge using Australia Post Express with signature required. 

International orders are sent via EMS international courier with signature required. The Beautiful Hair Boutique is not responsible for any additional duties and taxes. 

Sorry, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
